Spider-Gwen #28

Part of Marvel's 2018 Legacy initiative and the "Gwenom" arc, this issue's cover by Robbi Rodriguez pulls no punches: a smirking, red-suited figure with glowing rose-tinted glasses dominates the frame, a sword resting across his chest, while a tiny dark Spider-Gwen crouches menacingly at his shoulder. The juxtaposition of that self-satisfied grin against the miniaturized, fang-baring Spider-Gwen creates an unsettling sense of who — or what — might really be in control. Jason Latour, Rodriguez, and Rico Renzi continue to bring their distinctive, stylish energy to Gwen's corner of the Marvel universe.
