Goran Parlov

Goran Parlov, born March 24, 1967, in Croatia, is a comic book artist best known for his gritty, atmospheric work on crime and war comics. He entered the industry in the early 1990s, initially drawing for the Croatian series *Magični Vjetar* before gaining international recognition. Parlov’s style—marked by heavy inks, textured shading, and a cinematic sense of composition—made him a natural fit for the *Punisher* franchise. He is most celebrated for his collaboration with writer Garth Ennis on *Punisher MAX*, where his stark, unflinching art brought the character’s brutal world to life. He also co-created the series *Outlaw Nation* with writer Jamie Delano, and worked with Mark Millar on the space-western *Starlight*. Beyond his signature work, Parlov contributed to *Fury MAX* and *Marvel Universe vs. the Punisher*, often handling pencils, inks, and colors.
