“Barracuda Part 5”

Part five of the "Barracuda" arc finds Frank Castle battered and bloodied but unbroken — Tim Bradstreet's cover depicts a bruised, determined figure advancing through a warehouse of wooden crates with a pistol leveled straight at the viewer, making for an uncomfortably direct confrontation. Garth Ennis and Goran Parlov's MAX-imprint run has consistently pushed the Punisher into punishing territory, and this penultimate chapter promises no relief. If you've been following this arc, issue #35 is exactly the grim, no-flinching dose you'd expect.
