Davide Fabbri
Davide Fabbri is an Italian comic book artist best known for his extensive work on *Star Wars* titles for Dark Horse Comics, as well as horror-infused projects like *Victorian Undead*. Born in Italy, Fabbri built a career spanning from 1991 to 2018, with credits on nearly 90 issues as artist, colorist, inker, and writer. His path into comics led him primarily to the American market, where he became a regular contributor to Dark Horse’s *Star Wars* line, including *Star Wars: Empire* and *Star Wars Comic Pack*. He also worked for Dynamite Entertainment and, later, DC Comics.
In 2010, Fabbri collaborated with writer Ian Edginton on *Victorian Undead*, published by WildStorm, which pitted Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson against zombies. The series earned a nomination for a Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Award that year. A self-described science fiction fan, Fabbri returned to Italian readers in 2012 by illustrating all covers for *Kepher*, a series from Star Comics. His style, clean and dynamic, suited both space opera and Victorian horror. Later work included *Victorian Undead II* and issues of *Hellblazer*. While he did not receive major industry awards, his consistent output and genre versatility left a mark on licensed comics, particularly among *Star Wars* fans.
