Star Wars: Jedi Council: Acts of War #3

The penultimate chapter of this four-part Dark Horse series puts the tension front and center: a determined Jedi woman dominates the foreground while an armored alien warrior brandishes weapons at her side, and in the rocky, ember-skied background another robed figure ignites a blue lightsaber against an unseen threat. Davide Fabbri's cover composition does fine work balancing the calm resolve of the central figure against the bristling danger surrounding her, set against a striking desert landscape of weathered stone spires. With Randy Stradley scripting and Fabbri on both pencils and inks, Acts of War #3 keeps the Jedi Council's mission looking as gripping as ever heading into its finale.
