“The Devaronian Version, Part 1 of 2”

Kilian Plunkett's cover for this 2002 Dark Horse entry sets an intriguing stage: a horned, red-skinned Devaronian wielding a glowing lightsaber looms large in the foreground alongside a blue-skinned alien woman, while the towering visage of Yoda watches over them from the background, flanked by the ghostly silhouette of a Star Destroyer. "The Devaronian Version, Part 1 of 2" — written by John Ostrander with art by Davide Fabbri and inks by Christian Dalla Vecchia — promises a story told from a perspective the galaxy far, far away doesn't often spotlight. With a trio of robed figures lurking at the edge of the composition, there's clearly more going on here than meets the eye.
