John Constantine fixes the reader with a cool, suspicious stare on this 2018 DC Universe entry — cigarette dangling from his lips and lighter in hand, trench coat slightly rumpled, every inch the world-weary occult troubleshooter. Flanking him on either shoulder, in classic devil-and-angel fashion, are two contrasting figures: a purple-costumed, cape-wearing fighter striking a bold pose on the left, and a poised woman in a sleek red suit on the right — a visual gag that gives the cover's "Devils on My Shoulder!" tagline real teeth. Writer Tim Seeley, who also handles the cover pencils and inks solo here, wraps up "The Good Old Days" arc with a composition that's equal parts noir cool and supernatural unease.
