John Constantine — trenchcoat on, cigarette casually lit — strolls away from a churning mass of demons that tower behind him: a roaring scarlet horror at the top, flanked by skulking purple fiends, a dark-winged creature, and pale spectral figures clawing at the edges. The contrast between his cool, unbothered posture and the seething supernatural chaos at his back says everything about the man. Tim Seeley's cover for issue #21 of "The Good Old Days" arc captures Constantine's particular brand of weary confidence — surrounded by monsters, and somehow still the most dangerous thing on the page.
