Who is Jubilation Lee?

A teenage runaway and mall rat, Jubilation Lee discovered she could fire dazzling bursts of explosive plasma from her fingertips. After secretly following the X-Men to the Australian Outback, she was taken under Wolverine's wing and eventually joined the team as Jubilee.

Jubilation Lee burst onto the scene in 1989's X-Men Annual #13 β€” a Copper Age arrival courtesy of creators Terry Austin and Mike Vosburg β€” and she's never stopped lighting up Marvel's mutant corner of the universe since. A genuine X-Men mainstay, she's shared countless adventures alongside icons like Wolverine, Storm, and Anna Marie across the pages of Uncanny X-Men and X-Men, accumulating over 450 catalog appearances and 19 collector-recognized key issues across an impressive 37-year publishing run. Few characters introduced in that era have demonstrated such staying power, growing from a fresh young face into a figure with genuine depth and history woven through decades of Marvel storytelling. If you're building a serious X-Men collection, Jubilation Lee is absolutely essential reading.
