Wolverine #43
In "Under the Skin," Wolverine is dropped on the streets of New York by Fury, thrust into a city teeming with threats both familiar and new. As Albert stalks the storm drains with Elsie’s head, Masque emerges from the dark, and Linus Dorfman’s twisted cruelty unfolds at Central Park Zoo, where animals suffer under his control. Meanwhile, Lady Deathstrike closes in on a trail, and Sabretooth rises from the river, ready to renew his long-standing hunt. Written by Larry Hama and illustrated by Marc Silvestri and Dan Green, with colors by Steve Buccellato and letters by Pat Brosseau, this 1991 issue features a cover by Marc Silvestri that captures the storm-lit tension of a city on edge.
