Glory Grant
Glory Grant is an ordinary New Yorker who first crossed paths with Peter Parker as his neighbor before landing a job as secretary to Daily Bugle publisher J. Jonah Jameson, eventually rising to an editorial role at the Front Line newspaper.
Glory Grant made her debut in the Bronze Age pages of The Amazing Spider-Man #158 (1976), brought to life by the legendary team of Len Wein and Ross Andru, and she's been a warm, enduring presence in Marvel's New York ever since. Over nearly five decades she's woven herself into the fabric of Spider-Man's world, sharing pages with Peter Parker, J. Jonah Jameson, Robbie Robertson, Mary Jane Watson, and Betty Brant β as distinguished a roster of Amazing Spider-Man regulars as you could hope to find. With 93 catalog appearances spanning all the way to 2026, including turns in Peter Parker: Spider-Man and even Spider-Gwen: Smash, Glory has proven herself one of those quietly indispensable supporting characters who give a superhero's universe its human texture. Three of her appearances carry key-issue status, a lovely reminder that longevity and collector significance often go hand in hand.
