Terry-Toons Comics
Marvel · 1942–1947 · 59 issues
About the series
From 1942 to 1947, Marvel brought the slapstick energy of the Terry-Toons cartoon studio to comics, with Stan Lee and H. H. Arnold scripting most of the 59 issues. Bill King's lively art anchored the antics of Gandy Goose, Sourpuss, Dinky Duck, Rudy Rooster, and the heroic Mighty Mouse, alongside the mischievous Jeckle. This series offered wartime and postwar readers a reliable dose of animated humor on the page, preserving the charm of these classic characters for a new medium.
