Terry-Toons Comics #8 brings some wonderfully chaotic cartoon energy to May 1943, as a hapless firefighter character tumbles off a ladder atop the "Asbestos Fire Dept." truck, hat marked "13" — bad luck in full display — while a second character pilots the red fire engine straight toward a very low bridge. The bright yellow cover practically bounces with slapstick momentum, perfectly setting up the Gandy the Smoke-Eater story waiting inside. A cheerful ten-cent treat from the golden age of funny-animal comics.
