Rachel Smythe's lush, modern retelling of the myth of Hades and Persephone, Lore Olympus, began its print run with Random House in 2021, bringing the acclaimed Webtoon phenomenon to a new audience. Written and primarily drawn by Smythe, with additional art from Edwin Vazquez, the series reimagines the Greek pantheon as a glamorous, emotionally complex soap opera set in a vividly realized underworld.
