Meanwhile, Demeter remains steadfast in her disapproval of Persephone’s bond with Hades, while Hades prepares to descend into Tartarus, driven by a mission of his own. Written and illustrated by Rachel Smythe, with coloring and inking by Smythe and additional art by Edwin Vazquez, the issue’s cover by Smythe captures the moment with quiet intensity.
