Lore Olympus #2
In "26 You Called, You Answered," Hades grapples with his feelings in a raw, introspective letter he never sends—confessing his love for Persephone while wrestling with doubt about whether she deserves a life entangled with his shadow. As Minthe and Hades tentatively rebuild their bond, tensions rise when Hestia demands the coat Persephone received from him, and Hades takes drastic steps to protect their secret, enlisting the gorgons to track down a paparazzo. Written and illustrated by Rachel Smythe, this emotionally charged issue deepens the mythic world of Lore Olympus with intimate moments and quiet, simmering stakes—each page a masterclass in mood and character, rendered in Smythe’s signature style, with cover art by her as well.

Minthe spends the night with Hades. As part of his ongoing therapy Hades types a letter (never to be mailed) to Persephone, confessing his love for her, along with his concern that her being with him is not good for her. Hades and Minthe agree to give their relationship another try. Hestia upbraids Persephone and demands the coat that Persephone received from Hades. Hades hires the gorgons to find and capture the paparazzo who photographed him and Persephone together. Persephone surreptitiously keeps a hairpin that Hades had given her.
