X-Men: Fallen Angels #[nn]
In "Runaway," Bobby leaves the New Mutants behind, only to find himself stranded when his powers fail mid-escape. With a new ally named Chance and a mysterious doorway opened by Ariel, he’s quickly drawn into a dangerous game of survival on the streets—where even Warlock’s arrival can’t guarantee safety. As Magneto sends Siryn and Madrox on a mission to track down his missing students, they stumble upon Sunspot and Warlock just as they’re being recruited by the Vanisher into the Fallen Angels. Written by Jo Duffy and illustrated by Kerry Gammill, with inks by Tom Palmer and colors by Petra Goldberg, this issue blends raw street-level tension with the emotional weight of young mutants navigating their own paths—on the run, and on the edge. The cover, a striking collaboration by Kerry Gammill, Mike Mignola, Tom Palmer, and Al Williamson, captures the moment the door to a new life—or a new kind of danger—swings open.
