In "Falling," Wolverine is trapped in Hell, where the Silver Samurai warns him that his allies on Earth are dying because of him. As the Devil tests his resolve, Wolverine discovers a fragile weakness in his tormentor—and decides to strike back. Meanwhile, on Earth, Melita and her occult allies race to understand how Wolverine was sent to Hell, while a demon-possessed version of him attacks the X-Men at Utopia. Written by Jason Aaron and illustrated by Renato Guedes, with inks by Jose Wilson Magalhaes and Oclair Albert, colors by Matt Wilson, and letters by VC's Cory Petit, the issue's cover by Jae Lee captures the grim intensity of Wolverine’s descent.
