As Iron Man and Hulk recount wildly different versions of the tragedy—ranging from a zebra-riding ambush to a mistaken identity—Dr. Strange attempts a séance that accidentally summons Cyclops. The issue unfolds in a surreal, metafictional frame, with the past and present colliding in unexpected ways, all while a hunting accident and a shocking death from the recent past ripple through the narrative.
