Tomb of Dracula #13

This October 1973 Marvel chiller puts Dracula on the defensive in a way you rarely see — the vampire lord, snarling in his blue cape and red-lined cloak, is swarmed by a determined band of hunters armed with wooden stakes, their defiant challenge blazing across the cover: "You might kill one of us — or even two — but you'll never kill us ALL!!" The cover, penciled by Gil Kane and John Romita with inks by Tom Palmer and John Romita, crackles with that perfectly tense energy of a monster genuinely cornered. Subtitled "Death of a Vampire!" and sporting the story title "To Kill a Vampire!", this is Tomb of Dracula at its most grippingly human — a ragged group of mortals refusing to be prey.
