Tomb of Dracula #45
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeMarvel's Tomb of Dracula was billing itself as "Comicdom's Number 1 Fear Magazine" by 1976, and issue #45 makes a strong case for that claim. The cover — penciled by Gene Colan and inked by Tom Palmer — depicts Blade the Vampire Slayer, knife raised and goggles gleaming, locked in fierce combat with Hannibal King the Vampire-Detective, while a third figure lies sprawled on the ground beneath them and a pair of enormous, menacing eyes loom in the smoky background. The cover copy proudly announces this as "the most requested story of all," and with two of Marvel's most compelling horror characters clashing head-on in "Crossfire!," it's easy to see why fans were clamoring for it.
