The Fury of Firestorm #35

Firestorm finds himself caught between two dangerous foes on Rafael Kayanan's striking cover for this March 1985 issue — the icy, imperious Killer Frost looms on the right while the explosive Plastique crouches amid a burst of flames on the left, leaving the Nuclear Man leaping urgently at center with fire blazing from his fists. The cover copy puts it bluntly: "If Killer Frost doesn't get you… Plastique, the Woman Bomb, will!" Writer Gerry Conway orchestrates what looks to be a genuinely demanding two-front threat for one of DC's most underrated heroes.
