This October 1975 team-up from DC's The Brave and the Bold pairs Batman with the monstrous, moss-covered Swamp Thing in a tense urban standoff titled "Hour of the Beast." Jim Aparo's cover crackles with conflict — Swamp Thing lunges from a steel structure as armed men level their weapons at him, Batman standing nearby amid the chaos, caught between an angry mob demanding the creature's blood and an ally who clearly doesn't want interference. It's a genuinely compelling setup: two very different heroes, a city in ruins behind them, and a crowd that's lost patience with anything that looks like a monster.
