This second volume of Panini's Jim Aparo collection focuses on his celebrated run on The Brave and the Bold, showcasing the artist's dynamic storytelling and distinctive style as he illustrated Batman teaming up with a rotating cast of DC heroes. The collection gathers issues from the late 1970s and early 1980s, highlighting Aparo's ability to blend action, emotion, and intricate linework in these classic team-up tales.
This 2013 Panini Deutschland edition features Batman in "Der Tod lacht zuletzt," a story written by Bob Haney and Marc-Oliver Frisch, with art and inks by Jim Aparo, and lettering by Datagrafix. The cover, also by Jim Aparo, presents a striking illustration of the Dark Knight.
