The Amazing Spider-Man #543
In "Back in Black Part 5: An Incident on the Fourth Floor," Peter Parker finds himself cornered when a hospital nurse raises alarms over suspicious blood readings and a cash payment for an elderly patient’s care—connections that quickly point back to him. With a detective arriving with increasingly invasive questions, Peter makes a desperate move, dodging legal traps and escalating the stakes by stealing Aunt May from the hospital under the radar. Written by J. Michael Straczynski and illustrated by Ron Garney, with inks by Bill Reinhold, colors by Matt Milla, and letters by VC's Cory Petit, this tense chapter of Spider-Man’s saga unfolds with urgency and moral weight, all wrapped in Garney’s sharp cover art.

When a nurse at the hospital notices that the elderly gunshot victim in a coma has new substances in her blood (thanks to a transfusion by Peter) and that her niece is paying for her treatment in cash, she contacts the police and lets them know that something fishy is going on. When a detective shows up with some very uncomfortable questions, Peter racks up nine potential felony counts by knocking the cop out and stealing Aunt May away to transfer her to another hospital.
