Superman: The Golden Age Omnibus #5
In "The United States Navy!", Lois Lane finds herself relegated to the weather desk at the Daily Planet, turning her reports into surreal predictions in hopes of getting fired—only for Superman to intervene in a surprisingly literal way. Meanwhile, a pair of crooks exploit a sporting goods store owner’s G.I. loan, forcing him to buy out-of-season gear while holding his wife hostage. Written by Don C. Cameron and illustrated by Ira Yarbrough with inks by Stan Kaye and lettering by Ira Schnapp, this classic tale blends workplace humor with small-town tension, all brought to life with the distinctive style of cover by J. Bone.

But Superman steps in and helps solve the problems of both Lois and the retailer at the same time by making Lois' weird predictions come true.
