“Battle of the Redwoods!”

In "Battle of the Redwoods!", Greg and his friend Stuff are dazzled by the legendary magician Maloni’s impossible tricks—until one of them goes horribly wrong. When a real-life elephant vanishes during the show, Greg dons his Vigilante costume to track down the culprit, only to find himself tangled in a scheme involving a crook known as Elephant Al. With help from Stuff’s clever card tricks, the duo races to outwit a criminal mastermind in a high-stakes game of escape and justice. Art by Mort Meskin brings the action to life, while the cover by Jack Burnley and Stan Kaye captures the mystery and spectacle of the tale.

Stuff is practicing card tricks. Greg announces he has tickets to that evening's performance by the great magician Maloni. They attend and are astounded at a trick making a full sized elephant disappear. Changing into his Vigilante costume, Greg apprehends the crook Elephant Al, but he escapes through a very narrow doorway. He and Stuff are captured by Al's men, but Stuff's card tricks give them a chance to escape and bring Al to justice.
