“Starring Susie!”

In "Starring Susie!", Zatara’s quiet deep-sea fishing trip takes a bizarre turn when a reckless Alec Burley disrupts the waters with explosives and gunfire. With a wave of his magic, Zatara calls upon the fish themselves to teach Burley a lesson he won’t forget—using their strength to weigh him down and display him on a plaque. The story, illustrated by William White in both pencils and inks, captures a whimsical twist on justice, with a cover by Wayne Boring and Ed Dobrotka that perfectly frames the underwater spectacle.
