Alien — drives his fists into Superman with enough force to send the Man of Steel reeling, while a group of terrified onlookers scrambles away in the background. The bold cover blurb drives the drama home: "Not even Superman can stop the Giant Jimmy!" Inside, Jack Kirby writes and draws "The Saga of the D.N. Aliens," with inking by Vince Colletta and Murphy Anderson, and as a bonus the issue also promises the Newsboy Legion and a Golden Age super-hero reborn — plenty of Kirby-era DC energy packed into one fifteen-cent package.
