Superman #272
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeWhen strange and inexplicable events start plaguing Clark Kent, Superman knows only one culprit could be behind them: the mischievous Mr. Mxyztplk, back from another dimension with a fresh batch of chaos. With Lois Lane and Perry White caught in the crossfire, the Man of Tomorrow must outwit the impish villain before reality itself starts unraveling.
Superman is sent by Perry White to cover the Magicians' Convention, where he’s surprised to find Hocus and Pocus among the performers—though their usual antics seem to be taking a darker turn. As the event unfolds, the presence of the mysterious Gregor the Great and the eerie Conrad the Conjurer adds an unsettling edge to the spectacle, while Moiton and Mephisto linger in the shadows, watching.
In the shadow of the Shaggy Mountains, the villagers of Morabia cry out as a mysterious castle rises atop a peak—home to the long-lost Wizard of Wokit. When the wizard transforms into a giant falcon and attacks, Superman arrives to defend the town, battling the creature in the skies before bringing down the enchanted mountain. In the present, Lois Lane flips through an old book and reads the tale, her imagination weaving the legend into a story where Superman is the hero she’s always known.
