Drei neue Kandidaten stellen sich bei der Legion vor. Gleichzeitig streift ein unsichtbarer Nebel im Legionsgebäude umher auf der Suche nach seinem Kostüm: ERG. Er wurde bei seiner letzten Mission nicht zerstört, sondern nur in Millionen Partikel zerstreut. Er kommt aber nicht an seinen Dress heran, da er von einem pulsierenden Kraftfeld umgeben ist. Einer der drei Kandidaten, der Meister der Moleküle, ist ein Android, mit dem Ziel die Mirakelmaschine zu stehlen, die jeden Wunsch erfüllen kann. Einer nach dem Anderen der Legionäre fällt und nur ERG kann die Katastrophe verhindern.
