Sonic the Hedgehog #195

Hedgehog Havoc Part 1" kicks off with a cover that packs in a remarkable crowd of characters — Sonic front and center, flanked by Shadow, Amy Rose, a scarf-wearing figure, a green hedgehog with a fierce snarl, and the mechanical menace Metal Sonic, all seemingly reacting to an enormous shadowy hand reaching up from below. The dynamic, chibi-inflected artwork (signed by Tracy Yardley and Jen) gives the ensemble real energy, with each character's personality popping despite the busy composition. It's a fun, visually busy entry in Archie's long-running 2009 series that promises plenty of hedgehog chaos ahead.
