As Robin digs deeper, he uncovers a sinister plot: the circus performers are under a hypnotic trance, and even Superman is being manipulated by a hidden enemy pulling the strings from the shadows.

In "Man and Supermarvel!", Superman finds himself swapped with Captain Marvel—costume, powers, and all—thanks to a mischievous prank by Mr. Mxyzptlk. As the two heroes scramble to reverse the mix-up, they're drawn into a tangled web of deception when the imp crosses paths with his shadowy ally, Mr. Mind, whose own plans may be far more dangerous than a simple joke.

In "The Man Who Created Villains!", Clark Kent and Jimmy Olsen are sent by Perry White to the curious town of Fairfax, where an unusual surge of heroes has drawn attention. When Skeletor's assault on Castle Grayskull unleashes a dimensional rift, Superman is pulled from Earth and stranded on Eternia. Forced to confront the sorcerer's dark ambitions, he joins forces with He-Man in a battle that spans realms.

In "Crisis on Three Earths!", the Luthors of Earth-1 and Earth-2, frustrated by their repeated defeats at the hands of their respective Supermen, swap places in a desperate bid to outwit their foes. When that fails, they flee to Earth-3, where they join forces with Ultraman for a new scheme threatening the stability of both Earth-1 and Earth-2. With the two Supermen now united and a new Earth-3 hero stepping forward, the battle for the multiverse begins.
