In "Crisis on Three Earths!", the Luthors of Earth-1 and Earth-2, frustrated by their repeated defeats at the hands of their respective Supermen, swap places in a desperate bid to gain the upper hand. When that fails, they flee to Earth-3 and join forces with Ultraman for a scheme that endangers both Earth-1 and Earth-2. With the help of a newly introduced Earth-3 hero, the two Supermen must unite to stop the escalating threat. Written by Marv Wolfman and illustrated by Rich Buckler, with inks by Dave Hunt, colors by Carl Gafford, and letters by John Costanza, this annual features cover art by Rich Buckler and Dick Giordano.
