“A Dream of Demons!”

DC Comics Presents #30 teams Superman and Black Canary against one of DC's most unsettling villains — Doctor Destiny, whose skull-faced visage dominates the left side of Rich Buckler and Steve Mitchell's striking cover as he boasts, "In this dimension, I am ALL-POWERFUL — and you are NOTHING!" Superman and Black Canary are shown reeling, beset by snarling, monstrous creatures in a nightmarish dreamscape, making it viscerally clear why the header warns that Doctor Destiny is "the man whose dreams can kill." As a bonus, the issue also teases a backup feature asking "Whatever Happened to the Golden Age Atom?" — whose face peers up from the corner — giving readers two compelling reasons to pick this one up.
