The cover by Ross Andru and Frank Giacoia captures Superman throwing a punch at a massive stone idol-like figure while his international allies swarm around it in a genuinely thrilling display of global heroism. With a roster this colorful and a threat this imposing, this 1982 issue makes a strong case for why DC Comics Presents was such a great showcase for team-up adventures.
