Evil corporate giant Cyberdata has kidnapped Ana Ishikawa and turned her into a S.H.O.C., a darker cybernetically-enhanced version of Shi. Her "old friend" Dominque Thiebault, aka Cyblade, is aided by the mysterious Witchblade in a battle to save her soul. When last seen, Shi had been rescued from a death-like state only to fall victim, along with Cyblade, to a powerful explosion.
