Savage Dragon hits the mat — literally — in this September 2001 Image Comics entry, as the cover shows the green-skinned, fin-headed hero sprawled and grimacing while a lightning-crackling woman in purple stands powerfully over him, the tagline "The Bitch Is Back" leaving little doubt about the dynamic. Erik Larsen pencils and inks a cover full of crackling energy, with a stormy red sky, jagged bolts framing the dominant female figure, and a small green silhouette lurking in the moon above.
