Part 3 of 6 in the "Emperor Dragon" arc brings the "Patriot Act" storyline to a fever pitch as Savage Dragon — green-skinned, fin-headed, and battered — collides violently with SuperPatriot, whose stars-and-stripes armor fills the cover in a burst of debris and flying shrapnel. Erik Larsen pencils, inks, and writes the whole affair, delivering a cover that crackles with raw, close-quarters intensity. If you're following this 2010 Image series, this mid-arc showdown is exactly the kind of confrontation the build-up has been promising.
