Planet of the Apes #7
In "Beneath the Planet of the Apes (Ch. 1)," Brent and Nova venture back into the Forbidden Zone, only to be captured by a gorilla patrol. After a daring rescue by Dr. Zira and Dr. Cornelius, they're swiftly seized again by Zaius and Ursus, who plan to use them as targets. With a secret escape from their prison wagon, Brent and Nova flee into the wilderness and stumble upon the forgotten ruins of Queensborough Plaza—leading Brent to a shocking realization about the true nature of the world he now finds himself in.
In "Enslaved (Ch. 2)," Brent and Nova edge closer to discovery as tension mounts in the ruins of Manhattan, where Brent is wounded in a desperate escape. With Dr. Zaius and Ursus planning an invasion of the Forbidden Zone, Nova leads Brent to the hidden sanctuary of Dr. Zira and Dr. Cornelius, now a married couple, where his injury is tended. As Zaius prepares to depart with Ursus, he entrusts the couple with the protection of science, leaving Brent’s fate—and the future of the human resistance—hanging in the balance.
