New X-Men #152
In "Here Comes Tomorrow Part 2 of 4: Surrender the Starlit City," Grant Morrison and Marc Silvestri deliver a pivotal chapter where Tom Skylark recounts the tragic fall of the Proud People, their last stand against Apollyon and a swarm of Crawlers. With the Phoenix Egg back in the Beast’s hands, the X-Men brace for an immediate assault, unaware that the Beast—now calling himself Sublime—has already begun accelerating the egg’s hatching, unleashing a disoriented Jean Grey into a world transformed. The cover by Marc Silvestri and Joe Weems captures the weight of this turning point.

Tom Skylark recounts how the Proud People died fighting Apollyon and a horde of Crawler to allow Rover and him to escape with the Phoenix Egg. The X-Men know that now that the Beast has the Egg back, they need to attack immediately. Meanwhile, the Beast uses the powers of his Crawler to speed up the hatching of the Phoenix Egg, releasing a confused Jean Grey, who asks him if he's Henry McCoy. He replies that he "also" has a new name now: Sublime.
