New Mutants #42

Part 3 of the crossover event "Exiled," this 2012 Marvel issue brings the New Mutants face-to-face with some very unwelcome company. Stephanie Hans's cover captures a tense, chaotic street scene — a young man raising a baseball bat, a bearded figure in a Viking-style hat throwing a punch amid rising flames, a figure with red headphones, and a helmeted face looming large in the foreground, all while dark, cloaked enemies loom menacingly from the right. Written by Dan Abnett, Andy Lanning, and Kieron Gillen, with interior art by Carmine Di Giandomenico, this "Cannibal Time Bomb" chapter promises plenty of conflict at the collision point between mutants and Norse mythology.
