“Spy with Two Faces”

In "Spy with Two Faces," Merlin—secret agent and master of disguise—takes a bold stand against the Axis powers by summoning the spirit of the ancient Greek Oracle of Delphi. With the Oracle’s power, he sends three tyrants back to the mythical past, leaving them to face the very monsters their modern cruelty once mocked. Written by Toni Blum and illustrated by Art Peddy, this 1941 adventure blends espionage, myth, and wartime fantasy, with a striking cover by Lou Fine.
