Spider-Man and Captain Britain sprint for their lives across this February 1978 cover, fleeing an enormous spiked wrecking ball while a grinning, red-haired villain looms large in the background amid lasers and deadly machinery — all beneath the ominous banner "Trapped in Murder World." John Byrne's pencils and Frank Giacoia's inks give the scene a real sense of kinetic dread, with the tagline "Where absolutely everything can go wrong — because it's planned that way!" making Arcade's lethal funhouse feel genuinely threatening.
