Peter and Mary Jane discover Man-Thing being exhibited in a circus. Spider-Man returns it to the Florida swamp where it rejuvenates and sets out with purpose toward a house where d'Spayre holds an old sorcerer and his cute apprentice. They defeat d'Spayre. Spider-Man and Man-Thing end the adventure sitting together in the swamp.
