Xandu uses Spider-Man to break into Dr. Strange's home and steal a crystal, which he then uses to recreate the Wand of Watoomb. When Spider-Man and Doc Strange attempt to battle Xandu, he teleports them to another dimension and causes their powers to stop working. Strange casts a spell that allows him to use Spider-Man’s powers and Spider-Man to use magic and the pair take down Xandu. Dr. Strange tries to resurrect Xandu's love Melinda, but finds that she is completely dead.
