Spider-Man Family #5
In "Big Game," Spider-Man finds himself caught in a deadly game orchestrated by the cunning Xandu, who forces him to steal a powerful crystal from Dr. Strange’s sanctum. With their powers stripped away and trapped in a foreign dimension, Spider-Man and the Sorcerer Supreme must rely on each other’s strengths in a desperate bid to survive. Written by Len Wein and brought to life by Sal Buscema’s dynamic art, with inks by Frank Giacoia and David Hunt, and colors by Glynis Wein, this 2007 adventure features a striking cover by Takeshi Miyazawa.
In "null," Spider-Man teams up with Doctor Strange when Morbius steals the Sorcerer Supreme’s powers, threatening to unleash chaos. As the web-slinger and the mystic unravel the truth, they learn Morbius acted to save a friend from ALS—only to find that even magic has its limits.
In "The Goblin's Always Greener...!", Peter Parker tends to Aunt May’s recovery while juggling photo assignments from Jonah Jameson, only to be pulled into a chaotic clash at Radio City Music Hall. There, Spider-Man confronts the Goblin, who’s hunting Silvermane, as Harry Osborn narrowly escapes a deadly trap.
In "The Spider and the Sorcerer!", Spider-Man is unwittingly drawn into a high-stakes magical heist when the sorcerer Xandu uses him to steal a powerful crystal from Dr. Strange’s sanctum. Trapped in a dimension where their powers vanish, the unlikely duo must rely on each other—Strange wielding Spider-Man’s agility, and Spider-Man tapping into arcane magic—to survive Xandu’s schemes. The story’s emotional weight deepens when Strange attempts to restore Xandu’s lost love, Melinda, facing the harsh truth of what’s beyond death.
