Marvel Horror Classic Collection #2
This German-language collection from Panini Deutschland brings together classic Marvel horror tales written by Marv Wolfman, featuring iconic supernatural and monster characters such as Morbius the Living Vampire, Dracula, Blade, Daimon Hellstrom, and Satana. The volume spans stories from the 1970s, including appearances by Spider-Man, the Hulk, and the X-Men, as Wolfman weaves gothic horror into the Marvel Universe. It's a must for fans of Marvel's darker, pre-1980s storytelling and the creative peak of Wolfman's horror work.
"Sein Name ist ... Blade!" delivers a chilling chapter in the Marvel Horror Classic Collection, spotlighting a rare, early collaboration between Len Wein and Jörg Fassbender on a tale that blends myth, mutation, and monstrous transformation. Set in the frozen wilds of Canada, the story follows the Hulk as he's drawn into a deadly mystery involving the Wendigo, a cursed man, and a sister's desperate magic—only for the creature to awaken and clash with the Hulk, forcing the government to send in Wolverine. Herb Trimpe’s dynamic art, with Jack Abel’s inks and Glynis Wein’s haunting colors, brings the dread to life, while John Romita’s cover captures the primal tension of the moment.
