This oversized 1976 Marvel Preview magazine brings together two of Marvel's most compelling horror characters in one all-new package — Morbius the Living Vampire and Blade the Vampire Slayer. Ken Barr's painted cover sets a genuinely unsettling tone: a grim, leather-clad Blade grips his weapons in the foreground while a fanged, blue-skinned Morbius looms menacingly over a fallen woman on a stone staircase, bats swirling in the shadows behind him. Inside, Doug Moench and Sonny Trinidad deliver "The Madman of Mansion Slade," promising the kind of atmospheric terror tales Marvel was doing so well in the mid-1970s.
