“Siege of Darkness, Part 14: Masks”

Part 14 of Marvel's sprawling 1994 "Siege of Darkness" crossover lands here, spotlighted under the Midnight Sons banner. The cover — penciled and inked by Steve Lightle and Colin MacNeil — puts Blaze front and center: wild-haired, snarling, and leveling a heavy firearm straight at the viewer against a stark white background streaked with dripping crimson. It's a raw, confrontational image that captures the brutal, street-level intensity that defined the Midnight Sons corner of the Marvel Universe that year.
